Can brick pavers be used on a driveway?
Only if the selected unit and installation system are rated for vehicle traffic. The compacted base, edge restraint and pattern also need to account for turning loads.
Why is herringbone common with brick?
The interlocking arrangement handles changes of direction and gives a classic texture. It creates more edge cuts than some straight patterns, so border and waste should be planned before ordering.
Will the installed color look exactly like a photo?
No. Brick blends and production runs vary, and sun changes how color reads. Approve current physical samples and discuss blending units from multiple pallets where the manufacturer recommends it.
How are damaged bricks repaired later?
One advantage of modular paving is that individual units can often be lifted and replaced. Keeping a small reserve from the same production run helps reduce future color mismatch.
